Size guide - 9cm Garden Ready Pot

9cm Potted Plant specially selected and grown in our nursery. Planted in Taupe Grey pots these are fully recyclable, along with the plastic packaging they arrive in.

These are Garden Ready so you can just plant and go, no extra growing time needed, just regular pruning and maintenance to get the best out of your plants, the size is based on the pot and compost volume, foliage will vary from plant type, picture is for illustration purposes only.

Alstromerias originate from the central Americas, and will thrive in a sheltered sunny spot flowering readily in the summer months as they are southern hemisphere plants that thrive on equal amounts of day and night.
Because they have tuberous, fleshy roots that will rot in wet winter soil make sure they are planted in an area that has good drainage. Adding some grit at the time of planting can help with drainage.

Planting instructions
When you receive your plug plant, give it a drink with tepid water before planting into a 1ltr pot with fresh multi-purpose compost.
Water in well and plant out into its final flowering position after approx 4 weeks if the weather is clement and the risk of frost has passed in your area.
