Ficus Brown Turkey is one of the oldest fruits in cultivation and produces an abundance of sweet rich fruit ready for cropping from August to October.
Ficus Brown Turkey is best grown against a south or south west facing wall/garage wall where in long, hot summers it will produce an abundant crop of brown, pear-shaped fruit with red flesh.
Pruning: Prune into shape in spring but mind that the first crop is borne on last season's growth.
You will receive an over-wintered garden ready plant in an 8cm pot, which is at least 1 year old. Your plant can be planted straight out into the garden but may benefit for growing on in a larger pot for a few weeks first.
