Gladioli bring a burst of height and colour to your summer border and this selection with its pastel shades of pinks, apricot, whites and mauves, will be in flower from July until September. Gladioli (also known as the sword lily) are well known for their elegant, towering flower spikes that come in a dazzling array of colours and heights and they make excellent, long lasting cut flowers.
Gladioli are classic herbaceous perennials that grow from bulbous corms covered with fibrous papery skin and are very easy to grow given the right growing conditions. Great in flower borders, cottage gardens and pots. Ideal grown in rows on an allotment or in the vegetable patch to be used as cut flowers.
