Helenium hoopesii which has now been renamed Hymenoxys hoopesii is a great clump forming perennial native to Calafornia. Clusters of unusual bright yellow to orange flowers with yellow-brown centres bloom in early summer. Rosettes of grey-green strap-like foliage make strong plants full of flowers in Summer.
