Hesperantha coccinea ‘Fenland Daybreak’, formerly known as Schizostylis,  is a tall, hardy perennial with beautiful coral-pink star-shaped flowers that have a long flowering season and can be in bloom from July through until October and sometimes November.  The tall foliage dies down in winter and fresh new growth reappears the following spring.

Size guide - Tray of 84 Large Plug Plants 

Pot Ready, Large, Healthy plants individually rooted in large plugs of compost. Ideal for planting into baskets, containers or small areas in the garden. Best results achieved if grown on for a short while in 9cm/10cm pots prior to planting out if planting straight into garden borders. Tender varieties will need protecting from frost. Compost volume around 4-5cm deep x 3-4cm square. Foliage height 5cm-12cm (depending on variety). Full growing instructions are provided.

Hesperantha were formerly known as Schizostylis, and many know the plant as this name, It is the most widely grown variety and is cultivated as a garden flower. They prefer to be in a sunny open position in a fertile well-drained soil in the garden border but can be grown in a container if space is limited.
