Easily grown from seed and sown directly into the ground, ‘Perpetual’ Spinach can be sown at regular intervals for a constant year-round supply or in April/May and again in September/October. This spinach is a type of Chard and is best picked regularly whilst the leaves are young and can be added raw to salads or sautéed quickly in a pan. Packed with vitamin K which is good for the heart & cardiovascular system. (Popeye loved it to give him strength!).

Sow in rows 30cms wide and 2cms deep in any soil type. Thin out to around 15-20cms between plants when seedlings are large enough to handle. Water regularly and feed at intervals.
