Stachys byzantina also known as Lambs ears is a spreading evergreen perennial. Rosettes of soft woolly light-grey and white leaves provide an attractive, weed suppressing carpet for much of the year. Spikes of light purple flower are produced in summer, which are attractive to bees.
Useful as a ground cover plant. Fully hardy, tolerant of poor, dry soil.
