Our herb plugs are securely rooted, healthy plugs that would benefit from being grown on in 9/10cm pots for a few weeks before planting out in herb gardens, containers or hanging baskets. Tender varieties will need protecting from frost. Compost volume around 2.5 – 3cm deep x 3.2cm square. Foliage height 1.5cm – 5cm (depending on variety). Full growing instructions are provided.
• Ensure that your tender plug plants are grown on in 10cm pots in fresh compost and placed in a warm spot, ideally a windowsill or propagator. • These herbs do not like the cold during their initial growth period, so fluctuations in temperatures are best avoided.• Once the roots have filled the pots, they will benefit from being potted on to a larger pot for a few more weeks or if you have a frost free spot in the garden they can be planted out. • A neutral, well-drained soil is ideal that is not too high in nutrients.• Water in well initially and snip the herbs with a pair of scissors as you need them.• Mulch the base of the plants in late autumn to give them protection from the harshest cold weather and they may grow back next year.
Arrived in good condition, very good value for money compared to other companies. Would buy from again. The leaves have a lovely sweet taste, a popped 2 small leaves in a mint tea, next time I will cut the leaves to see if they will give more sweetness
The plants arrived in perfect condition and were packed very well, I could not resist eating one of the leaves when they arrived before I potted them on
Excellent packaging. Unfortunately plants are at flowering stage, therefore almost past leaf production, Which is what stevia (sweet leaf) is grown for. That is at this stage the plants are useless.
So glad I found somewhere selling these. First year growing them. Cant wait to show off to friends how sweet the leaf is.
Plants arrived on time that was stated in good condition will order again from this company as was asked how I liked thir service nice friendly service thank you
