Planting Location: Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Skysail Fire performs beautifully in sandy, gravelly, or poorer soils, making it ideal for low-maintenance and drought-tolerant gardens. Planting Steps: Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, position the plant, and backfill with soil. Water thoroughly to help it establish roots. Watering Tips: Water regularly during the first few weeks after planting. Once established, this plant requires minimal watering and thrives in dry conditions. Feeding Schedule: Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to encourage healthy growth and abundant blooms. Pruning and Deadheading: Remove spent flower heads to prolong blooming. Cut back stems to the base in late autumn to prepare the plant for the next growing season. Winter Care: Fully hardy, Skysail Fire requires minimal winter protection. Mulch around the base in colder regions for additional root insulation.
