Anemone

Japanese Anemones originate in China, although they were grown extensively in Japan at one time and this is where the confusion in names may have come from. However, they are long-lived, spreading perennials that give colour and form in the garden borders from mid-summer to late autumn.

The best annual verbena plants I have bought, ever! The plugs were superbly grown, strongly rooted plants, showing colour within a few days. I usually grow verbena either from seed or bought in cells and these 'showboats' are the best!
