Elevate your garden with the rare and striking beauty of Corydalis Blue Heron. Known for its unique clusters of soft, sky-blue flowers that bloom from March to August, this perennial brings a refreshing splash of colour to shaded borders, woodland gardens, and containers. Supplied as a 9cm garden-ready plant, Corydalis Blue Heron is both low-maintenance and highly rewarding, offering lush green foliage and a stunning floral display year after year.

Key Features:

Unique Blue Blooms: Corydalis Blue Heron produces delicate, tubular sky-blue flowers that stand out against its fern-like green foliage, creating a captivating display.

Ideal for Shady Areas: This variety thrives in partial to full shade, making it perfect for brightening up darker spots in your garden, such as under trees or in shaded borders.

Compact and Tidy Growth: With its compact habit, Corydalis Blue Heron is well-suited for smaller spaces, containers, and mixed planting schemes, adding structure and colour without taking over.

Extended Blooming Season: Enjoy a long-lasting display of flowers from March to August, offering continuous beauty in your garden during the warmer months.

Hardy and Low Maintenance: This resilient perennial is easy to care for and returns year after year, providing beautiful blooms with minimal effort.

Care Instructions for Corydalis Blue Heron:

Ideal Planting Location: Corydalis Blue Heron thrives in partial shade or full shade with well-drained, moist soil. It is particularly well-suited to woodland settings or shaded borders.

Planting Steps: Remove the plant from its 9cm pot and plant at the same depth it was growing in the container. Space plants around 20-30cm apart to allow for spread.

Watering Tips: Water thoroughly after planting to establish strong roots. Keep the soil evenly moist, especially in warmer weather, but avoid waterlogged conditions.

Feeding Schedule: Apply a balanced fertilizer in spring to encourage healthy growth and a strong flowering season. Deadheading and Pruning:

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms and maintain a neat appearance. Trim back any dead or damaged foliage in autumn to prepare the plant for dormancy.

Winter Care: Corydalis Blue Heron is fully hardy, but a light mulch over the root area will help protect it during the winter months.
