Add a touch of exotic beauty to your garden with Cosmos Cherry Chocolate. This stunning variety is known for its velvety deep red, almost chocolate-coloured blooms that exude elegance and charm. Supplied as a 9cm garden-ready plant, Cosmos Cherry Chocolate is ideal for borders, containers, or as a striking addition to your summer garden displays, providing months of long-lasting colour from May to October.

Key Features:

Rich, Velvety Blooms: Cosmos Cherry Chocolate features eye-catching deep red, almost chocolate-toned flowers with a hint of purple, adding a unique and luxurious feel to your garden.

Long Flowering Season: Blooming from mid-summer until the first frost, this variety provides continuous colour, making it a perfect choice for late-season interest.

Ideal for Borders and Containers: With a tall, airy habit, Cosmos Cherry Chocolate adds height and movement to borders and makes an excellent feature in containers or garden beds.

Attractive to Pollinators: The open, daisy-like flowers are perfect for attracting bees and butterflies, enhancing the biodiversity of your garden. Low Maintenance: Cosmos is known for being easy to grow, making it suitable for both experienced and novice gardeners.

Care Instructions for Cosmos Cherry Chocolate:

Ideal Planting Location: Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Cosmos thrives in sunny spots, making it perfect for sunny borders, beds, or containers.

Planting Steps: Remove the plant from its 9cm pot and plant at the same depth as in the container. Space plants approximately 30-40cm apart to allow for airflow and healthy growth.

Watering Tips: Water well after planting to establish roots. Once established, Cosmos is drought-tolerant, requiring only occasional watering during dry spells. Avoid overwatering as Cosmos prefers dry conditions.

Feeding Schedule: Cosmos doesn't need much feeding, but a light application of fertilizer during the growing season will encourage more blooms.

Deadheading and Pruning: Regularly deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming throughout the season. Trim back any leggy growth to maintain a tidy appearance.

Winter Care: Cosmos Cherry Chocolate is an annual, so it will not survive winter frost. However, collecting seeds at the end of the season allows you to replant the following year.
