Desiree is the potato celebrities can not get enough of for the perfect roast potato! They produce oval red skinned tubers with pale yellow flesh, not only do they make the perfect roasts, but they are extremely versatile – you literally can do anything with this potato – boiling, mashing, baking, chipping and roasting. These potatoes are a heavy cropper and early bulking with a high resistance to drought and good resistance to potato virus Y and powdery scab. Please note they have been known to have a slight susceptibility to spraing.
Maincrop seed potatoes take the longest to mature of between 125 – 140 days, however, they are known for their higher yielding than the first and second earlies, not only that, they are great for storing and using over the winter months.
Our 2kg packs contain between 20 to 25 tubers graded 35 to 60 mm.

For any order under £60 we charge £5.95 postage and package per delivery week selected on your order.
We use a number of couriers to ship our orders to you. When your Parcel leaves us, you will receive an email confirmation of the courier your order is going with and associated tracking numbers for the order. If your parcel is to be delivered by Amazon Shipping, Evri, Yodel, Royal Mail or Parcel Force you will receive further emails from them about your delivery.
We are the only online plug plants supplier to offer a choice of a specific dispatch week for your order. When placing your order, use the drop down box above to select your required dispatch week. You can also alter dispatch week in the shopping basket (multiple week deliveries could incur postage charges - see further information here - please click here).
