Planting Location: Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Supreme Cantaloupe performs well in sandy, gravelly, or poorer soils, making it ideal for low-maintenance gardens. Planting Steps: Dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, position the plant, and backfill with soil. Water thoroughly to help it establish. Watering Tips: Water regularly during the first few weeks after planting. Once established, this variety is drought-tolerant and thrives in dry conditions. Feeding Schedule: Apply a balanced fertiliser in spring to support vigorous growth and prolific flowering. Pruning and Deadheading: Remove spent flowers to encourage extended blooming. Leave some seed heads intact for winter interest and to provide food for birds. Winter Care: Fully hardy, Supreme Cantaloupe requires little winter protection. In colder regions, mulch around the base to protect roots from frost.
