Care Instructions for Fern Cyrtomium fortunei:
Ideal Planting Location: Plant in a partially shaded or fully shaded area with well-drained, humus-rich soil. This fern thrives in woodland-like conditions, preferring moisture but tolerating dry spells once established.
Planting Steps: Remove the plant from its 9cm pot and plant at the same depth as in the container. Space plants around 45-60cm apart to allow for full growth.
Watering Tips: Water thoroughly after planting to help establish strong roots. Keep the soil moist, especially during the first growing season, but avoid waterlogging.
Feeding Schedule: Ferns generally don't need much feeding, but a light application of compost or organic matter in spring can boost growth.
