Care Instructions for Gaillardia Fanfare Amber Glow:
Ideal Planting Location: Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Gaillardia thrives in sunny, open spaces and is ideal for dry, sandy, or rocky soils.
Planting Steps: Remove the plant from its 9cm pot and plant at the same depth as in the container. Space plants around 30-45cm apart to allow for healthy growth and air circulation.
Watering Tips: Water well after planting to help establish strong roots. Once established, Gaillardia is drought-tolerant and requires minimal watering. Water only during prolonged dry spells.
Feeding Schedule: Apply a balanced fertilizer in spring to promote strong growth and flowering. Overfeeding can lead to lush foliage at the expense of flowers, so feed sparingly.
Deadheading and Pruning: Regularly deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming and maintain a tidy appearance. Trim back the plant after the flowering season to keep its compact shape.
