Hosta Halcyon, also commonly known as the Plantain Lily, is perfect for gardens that thrive on lush looking foliage, with the blue look leaves becoming heart shaped when mature. Bees are particularly attracted to the Hosta, with its purple flowers in the summer being full of nectar.
Grow in moist soil in a sheltered position that will attract some sunlight in the day. Please note that the plant can be toxic to cats, dogs and horses.
