We use a number of couriers to ship our orders to you. When your Parcel leaves us, you will receive an email confirmation of the courier your order is going with and associated tracking numbers for the order. If your parcel is to be delivered by Amazon Shipping, Evri, Yodel, Royal Mail or Parcel Force you will receive further emails from them about your delivery.
We are the only online plug plants supplier to offer a choice of a specific dispatch week for your order. When placing your order, use the drop down box above to select your required dispatch week. Size guide - Pack of 350 Plug Plants
The most economical way to purchase your plants. Securely rooted, strong plants in mini-plugs of compost. Will need to be transplanted and grown on before planting out ready to flower. Tender varieties will need protecting from frost. Compost volume around 2.3cm deep x 1.3cm square. Foliage height 1.5cm-5cm (depending on variety). Full growing instructions are provided.
Using a good quality multi-purpose compost, pot up your plugs into 9 cell trays. Once your plug plants have been potted on and labelled, water them in well and grow on for around 5-6 weeks. Water once the compost starts to dry out.
If preferred you can pot on the plugs into hanging baskets, flower bags or pots. Add a slow release plant food like Miracle-Gro Slow Release All Purpose Plant Food to your compost which will give extra nutrients for strong and healthy plant growth.
Keep plants frost free until mid/late May and then harden off before being placed in their final positions when the risk of frost has passed in your area.
Water as necessary giving a liquid feed such as Neudorff Organic Plant Feed as instructed throughout the growing season.

The dainty looking flowers of the annual bush lobelia are used to great effect in containers and hanging baskets. They can be used as low edging plants in border displays during the summer months.
Once ready to plant outside, space at approx. 4-6" (10-15cm) apart in moist, well-drained soil. This spacing will allow the plants to grow fully without being overcrowded.
Bush lobelias have shallow roots, so watering is essential to stop them drying out. Once they are depleted of moisture, lobelia will wilt and quickly dry out. Stems and flowers will brown. If this happens mid-season it is worth cutting back and seeing if the plant will revive.
At the end of the season lobelia can be removed and placed on the compost heap to rot down.
