Myosotis Compindi (Forget-Me-Not) | Tray of 40 Plug Plants

This lovely myosotic, commonly known as forget-me-nots, are wonderful compact, ball shaped plants with intense blue flowers, great for your spring and early summer borders that is winter hardy! These love partial sun positioning, they grow 15-25cm tall and are great for pollinating insects. When they arrive you need to pot these on into either grower cell trays or small grower pots throughout the winter and plant just in time for the spring - they should be left outside to harden them off throughout the winter months.

Size guide - Tray of 40 Plug Plants 

The most economical way to purchase your plants. Securely rooted, strong plants in mini-plugs of compost. Will need to be transplanted and grown on before planting out ready to flower. Tender varieties will need protecting from frost. Compost volume around 2.6cm deep x 1.8cm square. Foliage height 1.5cm-5cm (depending on variety). Full growing instructions are provided.

Here are a few tips in helping them to flower for longer and produce great healthy flowers

• When you receive your plants make sure you’ve grown them on in suitable pots to help the roots mature before planting them in their final growing position ready for spring flowering.
• Myosotis  prefer a partially sunny spot with at least 3 hours sun light.  
• Try and plant your plants at least 15cms to 40cms apart - keeping the base of the stem at soil level. Once planted make sure you use a good feed to encourage the best growth and flowering. We recommend Neudorff Organic Multi Purpose Plant Feed, great for encouraging bigger blooms and longer lasting flowers and also pet and child safe.
• Careful attention to the pruning of these will help them grow for longer, when the flower starts to fade then take the head off to encourage more flowering.
