Nicola potatoes will give you lovely long oval shaped tubers with wavy yellow skins, great for boiling for salads, as well as chipping and mashing. They have a great disease resistance from potato cyst nematode, common scab, potato leaf roll virus, potato virus Y and bruising. Although this are second early potatoes these are a popular variety for planting later and harvesting just in time for christmas.
Second early potatoes take a little longer to mature than the first earlies at 110 – 120 days. Like first earlies these are often enjoyed as new potatoes because of their thin skins and most varieties are best eaten as soon as they are harvested.
Our 2kg pack contains between 20 to 25 tubers graded 35 to 60 mm.

If you have ordered plug plants for dispatch in March or April, we will send your seed potatoes during the same week. If you require these earlier please make a seperate order for these items.
Our seed potatoes are available for dispatch during the months of February - April . If you have also ordered plug plants for dispatch in March or April, we will send your seed potatoes during the same week. Smaller orders are dispatched via Royal Mail 24 , larger orders via Parcelforce 24
If you have ordered seed potatoes only (or other non-plug plant varieties), we will send your order within a week. of ordering. You will receive an email shortly after you order to confirm when you should expect these.
