Osteospermum Serenity Blushing Beauty | Pack of 3 Garden Ready 7cm Pots

This amazing osteospermum produces a purple/pink centre with a stunning golden yellow outside to give off the impression of blushing. Blushing Beauty has a similar habit to it’s sister plant – Blue Eyed Beauty with masses of flowers all summer long on compact plants. Height 25-30cm, spread 35-50cm.

Growing in our nursery, these pots will be flowering or showing signs of flowering soon on arrival, just plant up and wait for them to fully take hold for the summer.

Size guide - 7cm Garden Ready Pots

7cm Potted Plants specially selected and grown in our nursery. Planted in Taupe Grey pots these are fully recyclable, along with the plastic packaging they arrive in.

These are Garden Ready so you can just plant and go, no extra growing time needed, just regular pruning and maintenance to get the best out of your plants, the size is based on the pot and compost volume, foliage will vary from plant type, picture is for illustration purposes only.

Osteospermum belong to the daisy family and originate from Southern Africa, hence their common name - Cape Daisy or African Daisy.  

Osteospermum thrive when grown in a sunny aspect, so always plant them in a border that has full sun or partial sun and preferably in a warm sheltered area.

Water the plants regularly especially during their first season as they do not like to dry out and feed them throughout the summer too to help promote flowering.

Deadhead the faded flowers to prolong the flowering season and remove most of the stem too to keep the plant looking neat and tidy.

Osteospermum respond well to pruning so cut them back either in early spring or in the autumn.

Although many Osteospermum are listed as annuals, they are half-hardy perennials. This is because they are not entirely hardy and will not probably survive a long series of winter frosts. But they can be propagated by taking cuttings in the autumn or you could try over-wintering them in a frost-free spot.
