Pentland Javelin have been around since 1968 and have often been considered one of the best first earlies you can grow. Having pure white tasty flesh these are a great potato for your salads, also great for boiling and chipping. These will produce heavy crops of short white skinned potatoes. They have a good all-round disease resistance too.
First early seed potatoes have the shortest maturing time from as little as 60 – 110 days. These are often enjoyed as new potatoes because of their thin skins and most varieties are best eaten as soon as they are harvested.
Our 2kg packs contain between 20 to 25 tubers graded 35 to 60 mm.
Here is an idea for the planting and harvesting times for our seed potato varieties;
If you have ordered plug plants for dispatch in March or April, we will send your seed potatoes during the same week. If you require these earlier please make a seperate order for these items.
