Just like its fairground namesake, you can expect a stunning depth of sugar pink colour to the main flower with secondary white buds. Perfect for hanging baskets due to its trailing nature, Petunia Tumbelina Candyfloss flowers from June to October and comes with a hint of fragrance.
Petunia Tumbelina Candyfloss is fairly resistant to differing weather types and is best grown in moist but not over wet compost.

Size guide - Pack of 5 Large Plug Plants

Pot Ready, Large, Healthy plants individually rooted in large plugs of compost. Ideal for planting into baskets, containers or small areas in the garden. Best results achieved if grown on for a short while in 9cm/10cm pots prior to planting out if planting straight into garden borders. Tender varieties will need protecting from frost. Compost volume around 4-5cm deep x 3-4cm square. Foliage height 5cm-12cm (depending on variety). Full growing instructions are provided.

Transfer your plug plants into 13cm pots with fresh multi-purpose compost and grow your plants on in their pots for about 6 weeks.
Try to keep Petunias in a position that is cool but not cold. Growing in too warm conditions will result in soft ‘leggy’ growth. Once the plant has made a good bushy framework, temperatures of above 12˚C will promote flowering.
Keep the compost moist, but not waterlogged. If you notice a yellowing of the leaves during the early growing stages, this is probably due to the plants drying out. Try to avoid keeping the foliage wet for prolonged periods to prevent Botrytis and Mildew diseases and do not allow plants to be wet overnight. A general balanced liquid feed is fine like Miracle Grow or Neudorff organic multi purpose plant feed.

Brookside Top Tip - The key to success is regular feeding (once a week) and regular deadheading of faded flowers. One plant should be enough in anything up to a diameter of around 20cm. In larger containers 3-5 plants would be advisable.
