Care Instructions for Phlox Subulata Scarlet Flame:
Ideal Planting Location: Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Phlox Subulata thrives in sunny spots and is perfect for rockeries, ground cover, and borders.
Planting Steps: Remove the plant from its 9cm pot and plant at the same depth as in the container. Space plants around 30-40cm apart to allow for spreading growth.
Watering Tips: Water thoroughly after planting to help establish strong roots. Once established, Phlox Subulata is drought-tolerant and only requires occasional watering during prolonged dry spells.
Feeding Schedule: Apply a balanced fertilizer in early spring to encourage healthy growth and abundant flowering.
Pruning and Maintenance: After flowering, lightly trim back the plant to maintain its compact shape and encourage new growth. Remove any dead or damaged foliage to keep the plant healthy and tidy.
