Ribes rubrum Redcurrant Jonkheer Van Tet is an early producing fruit that gives the grower a highly rated fruit crop with a distinctive fullness of flavour. A high yield that is easy to pick makes this ideal for those wanting an assured growth result.
Plant 1.5m apart with 1.5 apart rows in a sunny but protected spot away from frosts and winds. The plant prefers fertile soil with a slight acidity.
These are 2 year old plants, in the first season of planting these will concentrate on establishing, although you might see some fruit in this year, it will be the following year that you will see plentiful crop.
