Just as the name suggests, this popular rhubarb variety will produce juice laden fruit with a definite sweetness that can be picked from February onwards. Easy-to-grow, this is the perfect choice for keen amateur gardeners who are embracing the grow-your-own culture. Timperley will grow well outdoors but will thrive when forced.

Plant in well-drained soil and prune in the colder months. These are 2 year old plants, in the first season of planting these will concentrate on establishing, although you might see some fruit in this year,  it will be the following year that you will see plentiful crop.
