Add some soft blue tones to your garden with Salvia Bumblesky. This delightful perennial is known for its spikes of sky-blue flowers that bloom from June to August, bringing gentle colour and elegance to borders, containers, and cottage garden displays. Supplied as a 9cm garden-ready plant, Salvia Bumblesky is easy to grow and loved by pollinators, making it a fantastic choice for both beauty and wildlife support.

Key Features:

Soft Sky-Blue Blooms: Salvia Bumblesky produces stunning spikes of pale blue flowers, creating a calming and refreshing visual display in any garden.

Long Blooming Season: Enjoy months of continuous blooms from June to August, providing long-lasting colour and interest.

Compact Growth Habit: Growing to around 50-60cm in height, this variety has a neat and upright growth habit, making it perfect for smaller borders, containers, and mixed planting schemes.

Pollinator Magnet: The tubular flowers are a favourite for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, helping to support your garden's biodiversity and attract beneficial wildlife.

Hardy and Low Maintenance: Salvia Bumblesky is a hardy perennial that requires little care, making it ideal for both beginner and experienced gardeners.

Care Instructions for Salvia Bumblesky:

Ideal Planting Location: Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Salvia thrives in sunny locations and is well-suited for borders, raised beds, and containers.

Planting Steps: Remove the plant from its 9cm pot and plant at the same depth as in the container. Space plants around 30-40cm apart to allow for good air circulation.

Watering Tips: Water thoroughly after planting to help establish roots. Once established, Salvia is drought-tolerant and only needs occasional watering during dry spells. Feeding Schedule: Apply a balanced fertilizer in spring to promote healthy growth and abundant flowering.

Deadheading and Pruning: Regularly deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming and keep the plant looking tidy. Trim the plant back after flowering to maintain its shape and encourage fresh growth.

Winter Care: Salvia Bumblesky is hardy, but adding a layer of mulch around the base in autumn can help protect the roots during colder months.
