A ‘must have’ plant for a cottage garden scheme. Salvias for the most part are low maintenance plants. They can be used as low hedging as an attractive soft divider between beds or as edging alongside pathways. The pleasant sage-like aromatic scent on the foliage is released when the leaves are brushed against.
Salvia gregii ‘Icing Sugar' have bright flower spikes of sugary baby pink that will bring a mass of frothy colour in a very short time giving quite remarkable bushy specimens that will be in flower all summer from June to September and quite often well into October. Ideal plants for coastal areas. Attractive to bees, butterflies and moths. Planted in full sun or partial shade Salvia gregii ‘Icing Sugar’ looks spectacular in large, decorative pots or as part of an herbaceous summer border.
Garden ready pot, specially selected and being grown in our nursery ready to be planted straight into their final place on arrival.
