Mystic Spires is a really striking plant: sturdy plants of contrasting dark green foliage, which are naturally compact and free branching, produce broad long flower spikes of true blue produced all season. Equally at home in beds and borders or in pots and containers – an excellent Patio plant. This was one of our fastest selling plants last year and was a real hit at the flower shows. Height 45-60cm, spread 30-60cm.

Plant Size Guide- 9cm Square Potted Plant
9cm Potted Plant specially selected and grown in our nursery. Planted in Taupe Grey pots these are fully recyclable, along with the plastic packaging they arrive in.
These are Garden Ready so you can just plant and go, no extra growing time needed, just regular pruning and maintenance to get the best out of your plants, the size is based on the pot and compost volume, foliage will vary from plant type, picture is for illustration purposes only.
Perennial plants come in hundreds, if not thousands, of varying shapes, sizes and colours and if you are like me, you will always find room for one more in your garden! They are reliable, hardy plants that breathe life into beds and borders from late spring to late autumn and beyond. These plants are also very attractive to pollinating bees, butterflies and beneficial insects.
- Our perennials are supplied as either large or jumbo plug plants, depending on the variety, with a good root system and healthy top growth.
- Your plugs will benefit from being grown on in large pots, approx. 5 - 10Ltr size.
- Give them a good soak in tepid water to ensure the roots get a thorough soak.
- Plant into a good quality multi-purpose compost and water them in. Pop a label in the pot to remind you what it is.
- Plant out into the final planting positions after a few weeks when the risk of frost has passed in your area.
- Planting in groups of 3’s or 5’s will give a good clump of colour as the plants mature.
- A good spadeful of organic matter popped into the planting hole will get your plants off to really good start.
- Give them a good drink of water and water regularly during their first year’s growth and feed with a sprinkling of granular slow release fertiliser.
*With a little planning you can have perennial plants in flower for several months of the year - almost all year round in milder areas.
