Add some glamour to your garden with Scabiosa Pink Mist. This charming perennial produces beautiful, pincushion-like pink flowers that bloom from May to July, creating a soft and airy display in borders, containers, or cottage gardens. Supplied as a 9cm garden-ready plant, Scabiosa Pink Mist is easy to grow, attracts pollinators, and offers long-lasting colour to your outdoor space.

Key Features:

Soft Pink Blooms: Scabiosa Pink Mist showcases delightful, soft pink flowers with a pincushion appearance, adding a romantic and delicate touch to your garden.

Long Blooming Season: Enjoy a continuous display of flowers from May through to July, providing months of colour and interest.

Compact and Upright Growth Habit: Growing to around 40-50cm in height, this variety has a neat, upright habit, making it ideal for borders, containers, and mixed planting schemes.

Pollinator Friendly: The nectar-rich flowers are a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators, enhancing the biodiversity of your garden.

Low Maintenance & Hardy: Scabiosa Pink Mist is a hardy perennial that requires minimal care, making it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.

Care Instructions for Scabiosa Pink Mist:

Ideal Planting Location: Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Scabiosa thrives in sunny spots, making it perfect for borders, rock gardens, and containers.

Planting Steps: Remove the plant from its 9cm pot and plant at the same depth as in the container. Space plants about 30-40cm apart to allow for healthy growth and airflow.

Watering Tips: Water thoroughly after planting to help establish strong roots. Once established, Scabiosa is drought-tolerant and requires minimal watering, only during prolonged dry periods.

Feeding Schedule: Apply a balanced fertilizer in spring to promote healthy growth and a profusion of blooms throughout the season.

Deadheading and Pruning: Regularly deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming and keep the plant looking tidy. Trim back foliage in late autumn to maintain a neat shape and prepare the plant for winter.

Winter Care: Scabiosa Pink Mist is hardy but benefits from a layer of mulch around the base during colder months to protect the roots.
