Snowdrop Galanthus nivallis |7 Bulbs Per Pack

Welcome the early signs of spring with the elegant Snowdrop Galanthus nivalis. These charming, delicate flowers are a classic addition to any garden, heralding the end of winter with their pristine white blooms. Supplied as a pack of 7 bulbs, these snowdrops are perfect for creating a natural, woodland feel in your garden.

Key Features:

Elegant White Blooms: Snowdrop Galanthus nivalis features pure white, nodding flowers that gracefully hang from slender green stems, creating a serene and enchanting display.

Early Spring Blooms: One of the first flowers to bloom in January to early spring, these snowdrops signal the arrival of warmer days and add a touch of hope and beauty to your garden.

Naturalizing Bulbs: Ideal for naturalizing, these bulbs will multiply and spread over the years, creating a carpet of delicate white blooms in your garden.

Versatile Planting: Snowdrops thrive in various garden settings, including borders, rock gardens, under deciduous trees, and even in containers.

Planting Instructions:

Ideal Planting Location:

Choose a spot with partial to full shade. Snowdrops thrive in well-drained soil and are perfect for planting under trees and shrubs or along garden paths.

Planting Depth and Spacing:

Plant the bulbs at a depth of about 5-8cm (2-3 inches) and space them approximately 8-10cm (3-4 inches) apart to allow room for growth and spreading.

Watering Tips:

Water the bulbs thoroughly after planting to help them establish.

Maintain consistent moisture, especially during dry periods, but avoid waterlogging the soil.

Feeding Schedule:

Fertilize with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer as the shoots begin to emerge to support healthy growth and blooming.

Maintenance:

Allow the foliage to die back naturally after blooming to help the bulbs store energy for the next growing season.

Divide clumps of snowdrops every few years to prevent overcrowding and encourage healthy growth.

Temperature and Frost Protection:

Snowdrops are hardy and can tolerate cold temperatures. However, during severe frost, a layer of mulch can provide added protection.
