Ideal Planting Location:
Grow the plug plants on in a bright, sunny location indoors or in a greenhouse with well-drained soil. Once fully established, plant them outdoors in full sun for the best results.
Potting and Growing On:
Upon arrival, pot the plug plants into small pots with high-quality compost. Keep them in a sheltered spot and water regularly to help them establish strong roots.
Transplanting to Final Position:
Once the plants are well-rooted and weather conditions are suitable, transplant them into a 12-inch hanging basket, spacing them evenly to create a full, cascading display.
Watering Tips:

We use a number of couriers to ship our orders to you. When your Parcel leaves us, you will receive an email confirmation of the courier your order is going with and associated tracking numbers for the order. If your parcel is to be delivered by Amazon Shipping, Evri, Yodel, Royal Mail or Parcel Force you will receive further emails from them about your delivery.
We are the only online plug plants supplier to offer a choice of a specific dispatch week for your order. When placing your order, use the drop down box above to select your required dispatch week. You can also alter dispatch week in the shopping basket (multiple week deliveries could incur postage charges - see further information here - please click here).
All our plug plants are shipped in specially designed packaging to keep the root system in place and the foliage protected in transit.

Size guide - Pack of 5 Large Plug Plants
Pot Ready, Large, Healthy plants individually rooted in large plugs of compost. Ideal for planting into baskets, containers or small areas in the garden. Best results achieved if grown on for a short while in 9cm/10cm pots prior to planting out if planting straight into garden borders. Tender varieties will need protecting from frost. Compost volume around 4-5cm deep x 3-4cm square. Foliage height 5cm-12cm (depending on variety). Full growing instructions are provided.
Using a good quality multi-purpose compost, pot up your plugs into 10cm pots or use the 6 Pack Cell Plant Trays. Once your Verbena plug plants have been potted on and labelled, water them in well and grow on for 5-6 weeks.
Add a slow release plant food like Miracle-Gro Slow Release All Purpose Plant Food to your compost which will give extra nutrients for strong and healthy plant growth or use our Organic range of feed Neudorff Organic Multi Purpose Plant Feed 1L Concentrate.
Keep plants frost free until mid/late May and then harden off before being placed in their final positions when the risk of frost has passed in your area.
