Size guide - Tray of 40 Plug Plants 

The most economical way to purchase your plants. Securely rooted, strong plants in mini-plugs of compost. Will need to be transplanted and grown on before planting out ready to flower. Tender varieties will need protecting from frost. Compost volume around 2.6cm deep x 1.8cm square. Foliage height 1.5cm-5cm (depending on variety). Full growing instructions are provided.

Wallflowers are known for their hardy nature over the winter months, creating beautiful autumn and winter bedding that will create a fantastic display in the spring months. The great thing about these wall flowers is they cope in any condition, full sunshine or even full shade, thus creating a great all-round autumn to spring display.  Here are a few tips in helping them to grow for longer and stay healthy throughout these months –

•   When you receive your plants make sure you’ve grown them on in suitable pots to help the roots mature before planting them in their final growing position.

•   Try and plant your plants around 15cms apart keeping the base of the stem at soil level. Once planted make sure you use a good feed to encourage the best growth and flowering. We recommend                        Neudorff Organic Multi Purpose Plant Feed, great for encouraging bigger blooms and longer lasting flowers and also pet and child safe.

•   Careful attention to the pruning of your plants will help them grow for longer, when the flower starts to fade then take the head off to encourage more flowering.
