Heuchera Palace Purple | Tray of 40 Plug Plants

Spikes of small, creamy white appear on slim stems above tidy clusters of large, shiny, almost metallic, rich crimson leaves. Palace purple is a popular heuchera and this variety is grown mainly for its distinctive foliage, and it looks great planted in large drifts and contrasted with other foliage interest plants. It is semi-evergreen and makes an eye-catching front of the border specimen, ideally in dappled shade.

Size guide - Tray of 40 Plug Plants 

The most economical way to purchase your plants. Securely rooted, strong plants in mini-plugs of compost. Will need to be transplanted and grown on before planting out ready to flower. Tender varieties will need protecting from frost. Compost volume around 2.6cm deep x 1.8cm square. Foliage height 1.5cm-5cm (depending on variety). Full growing instructions are provided.

Remove untidy foliage in autumn. Ideally, lift and divide the clumps every couple of years in early autumn and replant with the crown just showing above the surface of the soil. Apply a generous  mulch crown of the plant in spring.
