Order Packing Team Member.
(Temporary role).
Brookside Plant Nursery are looking for energetic and highly motivated individuals to come and join our seasonal team. Working in our busy packing department, your job will be to pack orders ready for collection from our delivery partners, in a quick and efficient manner to targeted packing rates. We are looking for candidates who ideally have prior experience working in a packing environment. You will be able to provide examples from previous roles of excellent organisational skills, time management and working to tight deadlines. This is a fixed term contract of 10 weeks starting 27th March 2023. Your shifts will be Monday to Thursday inclusive (including bank holidays), starting from 9am-5pm (to be confirmed). Approx. 30 hours a week. In return we offer you an hourly rate of £11.11.
Unlike a normal warehousing location, we are set in the beautiful village of Hints in Tamworth. Roles and Responsibilities
· Pack customers’ orders quickly and efficiently to targeted packing rates.
· Using an order management system, you will scan and print customers’ orders to produce postage labels (Full training given)
· Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
· Ensure individual order packing standards are met daily.
· Maintain a high level of health and safety standards including any COVID secure procedures we might have in place the Plant Nursery and warehouse locations.
Skills and experience
· Good attention to detail.
· Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to lift heavy objects up to 20kg
· Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time with frequent walking and activity
· Ability to work well as a team but be self-motivated and independent at times
· Order packing or relevant experience is essential.

Assembly Production Team Member.
(Temporary role).
Brookside Plant Nursery are looking for energetic and highly motivated individuals to come and join our seasonal team. Working on our busy assembly production line you will work as a team, making sure all plant stock is assembled into specially designed packaging, ready for our packing department. We are looking for candidates who have prior experience working as a team in a similar assembly job (although not essential), where it is vital the team worked together to complete daily assembly targets. This is a fixed term contract of approximately 10 weeks starting 25th/27thMarch 2022. Your shifts will be Saturday and Monday to Wednesday inclusive (including bank holidays), starting from 8.30am-4.30pm (to be confirmed). Approx. 22.5-30 hours a week. In return we offer you an hourly rate of £11.11.
