As the name suggests, this Impatiens variety brings you vibrant double blooms in a rich red. Their rose like appearance creates an impressive display, especially in pots, containers and hanging baskets. With no need to remove old blooms, this easy maintenance flowering plant is a beautiful addition to any garden area. Plant in partial sun or shade in a fertile compost.

Size guide - Pack of 5 Large Plug Plants
Pot Ready, Large, Healthy plants individually rooted in large plugs of compost. Ideal for planting into baskets, containers or small areas in the garden. Best results achieved if grown on for a short while in 9cm/10cm pots prior to planting out if planting straight into garden borders. Tender varieties will need protecting from frost. Compost volume around 4-5cm deep x 3-4cm square. Foliage height 5cm-12cm (depending on variety). Full growing instructions are provided.

Once ready to plant outside, give them a fertile, well-draining soil. Preparing the area beforehand and enriching with compost or organic matter to make the soil moisture retentive but not waterlogged is advisable.
Space approx. 10-12" (25-30cm) apart to give them plenty of room to grow without being overcrowded. Feed fortnightly with a liquid feed once the blooms appear and continue throughout the growing season. Too little water will result in wilting and blooms dropping off whilst too much water and deep shade can cause the plant to stretch and reduce flowering.
Impatien do not generally require deadheading. They are ‘self-cleaning’ which means that the plant removes old blooms itself which in turn allows new flowers to form.
