Fosteriana tulips which were once known as Emperor Tulips have large wide flowers and are early bloomers on strong sturdy stems ready to withstand the wind and rain. This Flaming Purissima will stand out from the crowd with its deep rose colour tips fading to a creamy base with heights of up to 35cm (14"). This tulip will come back year after year and is a great naturalising bulb which will flower early to mid spring.

If you would prefer your flower bulbs to be dispatched earlier (within five working days of ordering) please make a separate order. PLEASE NOTE - these are dispatched from September onward, if you have plants for delivery before this these will arrive on a later date.

Plant the bulbs pointy side up approx. 10cm deep and 15cms apart in late autumn or any time up to the end of November.
Prefers well-drained site in sun but will tolerate some shade. Flowers in spring – April to May.
Ideal as a cut flower. Suitable for borders and patio containers.
